We had amazing Swimming with Dolphins today with huge groups of Atlantic Spotted dolphins! Again they were in the middle of a feeding frenzy, surrounded by thousands of Cory Shearwater birds, and fish. Every time the people went in the water the dolphins came back to them for close encounters. It was basically a waiting game; go in the water, and if you were patient the dolphins would come back for you 🙂

The whale watching tours were spent with Common dolphins, Atlantic Spotted dolphins and a very, very stubborn Sperm whale!
The Common and Spotted dolphins alternated between resting and feeding states but always quite close to the boat – delighting us with their beautiful acrobatics and their adorable babies!!

The big male Sperm whale that we spent the day with decided to be a diva! 🙂 It took its time coming to the surface, diving just before we could reach him with the boats. However, the waiting was worth it! It surfaced very calmly and let everyone have a nice long look at him!
