Terra Azul’s collaboration with IUCN

International Union for Conservation of Nature (http://www.iucn.org/) is the world’s oldest global environmental organization. 1,300 members and 15,000 volunteer experts in 185 countries, support scientific research and manage field projects bringing governments, NGOs and companies together to develop policy, laws and best practices.

One of the current projects is producing a short film about EU overseas to highlight the importance of ecosystem services and socio-economic issues illustrating the unique biodiversity and highlight tourism local actors, pollution and degradation issues.

TERRA AZUL is contributing for the production of this film with fantastic images taken by our skipper Tiago Batista. Enjoy some of his work here:

Stay tuned for the final IUCN video!
