We had the pleasure of talking to one of São Miguel’s last whalers.

In Terra Azul, we take pride in our heritage and traditions as Azoreans. We partake in no judgment and on the contrary are curious in understanding the bond between our people and the Ocean. Conservation is a huge part of our modo and in order to better spread the message about -How important our Oceans are and what depends of them, we also believe it is important to understand how it all began.
