Fast and Furious!!!

Remembering that the deep blue ocean is vast and we are merely spectators of it’s wild-life, was a beautiful reminder of what we can expect when going whale watching.

People often get disappointed when not being able to see whales when at sea. Yet I like to believe that one should change this idea. Today only two different species of dolphins were spotted by our look-out. Seeing this magnificent 6 meters bottlenose dolphins,  head slap and traveling in a large pod, can only make one feel grateful for experiencing this beautiful, perfectly synchronised execution.

A family decided to join today’s excursion, the happiness of the children’s faces was priceless. Seeing the large bottlenose dolphins swimming along side of the boat made our whale-watchers enjoy even more the ride. The coloration of the animal underwater fills one with wonder of how these marine mammals became such skilled swimmers.

In addition to the bottlenose species, we got to travel along with the never tired, never stoping stripped dolphins. So many small calfs traveled with the group making it a true wonder to understand wildlife in its environment. These dolphins or as I like to call them “The fast and furious dolphins” never stop, not for a split second, making it clear that they truly master speed.

Another great afternoon with beautiful people who understand the importance of animals being wild and nature acting as it should, allowing us, merely to get a glimpse of it’s beauty and in any case, it is still a marvellous thing.
