Hello everyone! Today we had a great tour!

We started with a Sei Whale, one of the first Sei Whales of this season! They are known to be the fastest of the baleen whales. A few minutes later we had more good news. A Blue Whale was around. When we got there, we had a beautiful surprise…2 Blue Whales, a mother and a calf, probably the same individuals as yesterday. We didn’t stay long, because just like us, the mother wanted to protect the calf.

(tomorrow there will be a photo of the Blue Whale mother and calf published on our facebook page!)

Before we returned we went to see a group of Common Dolphins. They were relaxing, very quiet! We enjoyed some time with them and the we had to return to the base. In the afternoon the whales were difficult to encounter, so we decided to leave them alone and were lucky to find a large group of about 100 playful Bottlenose dolphins!

I hope you have enjoyed your day 🙂
