For some reason it does not really feel like a weekend! Yet after today’s tour we definitely partied on board.

We sighted an amazing pod of Common Dolphins (Delphinus delphis), as soon as they saw our boat the whole pod came to check it out and wow they are just mesmerising.

Not to far away suddenly there was movement in the sky: Birds, birds and more birds.

But why would you care about birds you might ask ?… Well birds are good spotters of dolphins, they follow them around and look for opportunities to feed at the same time as the dolphins.

So the birds in this case indicated us where to look and with them, a pod of Atlantic spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis) jumping around as you can see on the picture:

Then we found a Baleen Whale! It was one Sei Whale (Balaenoptera borealis) and probably two Fin Whale (Balaenoptera physalus). Nonetheless we could see 3 individuals cruising in the ocean,  2 adults and 1 juvenile.

Amazing!!
