A special visit from the University of Central Lancashire

During this last week we once again had the visit of a special group from the University of Central Lancashire!

The group of student publishers, writers, photographers, journalists and ilustrators joined us on 4 tours to do research for their next book focusing on sea turtles and ocean conservation.

What seemed to be a very dolphin rich stay ended up to be a species rich one: Risso’s dolphins, common, striped and bottlenose dolphins, the long awaited fin whale, the small minke whale and quite a few loggerhead turtles!

Here in Terra Azul we love to share our knowledge about the amazing animals we see everyday as well as educating people how to better take care of our oceans! It was a pleasure to take UCLan’s group on our tours and to help them spread the word 🙂

Last year they had been with us gathering information for another book about whales that will soon be published! Keep tuned for the release that will be advertised here 😀

See you soon everyone!!

Keep tuned for more news of tours!! 🙂
