The Bottlenose Dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) were a bit shy today, not showing much but we could see some of them porpoising out of the water every now and then. The group was composed by about twenty juvenile individuals, most likely a bachelor pod of males.
We also encountered two groups of Common Dolphins (Delphinus delphis). The second one was more active than the first one. We could see the amazing yellow patch, a very beautiful feature of this species, and a little calf that could have been around one month old!
This individual was most likely a solitary bull, hopefully we will be able to identify it from its fluke!
I hope you had enjoyed, see you at Terra Azul!
