Sunny skies but cold temperatures

The good weather is here! It’s sunny, flat on the ocean, but cold! Don’t let the sunny sky fool you…it really is cold out there!

But…life is there no matter of the temperature, and today we were greeted by a large group of about a 100 Common dolphins. At first they were resting, then some individuals started to leap out, and were feeding after all, together with a group of Seagulls. They are known to change behaviour very quickly from one moment to the other.

After a good amount of time with the dolphins, we left to search for life ourselves, and found a small Loggerhead turtle. This was nice as we don’t see them very often at this time of the year. But when the sea is flat, surprises are waiting! Join us on our next trip this Saturday! 🙂
