We started our morning trip on time – soon a few common dolphins surrounded our boat. Playful they stayed around as we were continuing our route along the coast.
Suddenly our skipper Nuno spotted a little turtle in the ocean, although when we got closer and took it out of the water, it was quite heavy! It was a loggerhead turtle – you may know the species of the movie “Finding Nemo”. As usual we were checking the skin near to the flippers, because sometimes a lot of barnacles and crabs settle there. But this turtle was clean – except for the algae on its shell.
