Three Wise Men’s Day and the Furnas’s Crib!

Hello everyone!

Today we are talking about a tradition that we have here in the Azores.

Yesterday, on the 6th, we celebrated the King’s Day, the day that the 3 kings arrived to give the gifts to baby jesus.

Last saturday we had a cortege in the streets of Vila Franca do Campo that is the personification of the christms crib.

Talking about Christms crib, did you visit already the Furnas’s crib?
It’s very common to visit at this time of the year, especilly on the 6th of January!

If you are around you still have the oppurtunity to visit and enjoy a good coffee or tea in the Caldeiras at Furnas’s Crib 😀
