What an adventure today! We went out with the directions of our lookout, who already spotted a whale and some dolphins. The dolphins though, decided to disappear before we got to the area, so we couldn’t confirm the species.

The whale was at first a bit tricky too, but eventually there it was, blowing in between waves while foraging. The skipper was managing the boat in a way to avoid us getting wet, but the ocean “took control” and the western wind of today decided to not letting us get back dry… even if we were protected with jackets eventually we got wet and salty anyway. Whale watching sometimes can be an adventurous experience! The whale kept surfacing and blowing, but we decided it was time to go back to warm up with a cup of tea 🙂
