What a various day today! Momma nature was very generous with 6 different species. Today has brought us
Spermwhales, Beaked whales, Striped dolphins, Risso’s dolphins, Common dolphins, Atlantic spotted dolphins.

The day started in the most wonderful way with all the 6 species in the same tour! 😀

It all started out with a very calm group of Risso’s dolphins, travelling very close to the shore. While we were with them, our lookout spotted some exciting: a group of Sperm whales. When we got to them we saw it was made up of 2 females and the smallest calf!

Suddenly, a fast group of Common dolphins showed up, jumping above the Sperm whales. The whales didn’t seem very impressed so they went for a deep dive to escape.

Shortly we were in the company of a very dynamic group of Striped dolphins! Speeding up as usual, they put up a great show for everyone 😀

Filipe spotted something else special! Beaked whales! So many times he sees them but we can’t go meet them because they are very shy and quick to disappear. Today they were really calm and it turns out, they were playing close to the boat 😀 And we could confirm that they were Blainville’s beaked whales!

No Summer day would be complete without Atlantic spotted dolphins so we were very happy to spend a great time with them! 😀

The afternoon was a bit more wavy but still impressive with Sperm whales and lots of dolphins!

Keep tuned for more news of our tours! 😀
