Surfing dolphins!

By 11/09/2016Common Dolphins

On our morning trip the sea was a bit wavy, which is actually pretty fun, because a huge group of Common Dolphins started to surf in the waves. Dolphins tend to use wave energy whenever possible to save some of their own energy, since surface tension (swimming on the surface) decreases their speed. They were having a good time while giving us a beautiful view with each rolling wave!
Stay tuned for more news about our trips! 🙂
