Another Day filled with excitement were Dolphins gave us something to talk about, different species of dolphins have all a different phenotype.

Because of their agil body movements in the water dolphins have been perceived by human societies through time to be extremely elegant creatures.

Today we sighted three different species that left us breathless regarding how mesmerizing these animals are.

First we sighted the Common Dolphins (Delphinus delphis), as usual their coloration leaves us breathless and the yellow/white patches they have are so unique. Looking at this picture of our library you can observe how cool they are.

The dolphin leaping in the picture is diving into the Atlantic waters were he can only be sighted. Wanna guess the name?…

You guessed is called  an Atlantic Spotted Dolphin (Stenella frontalis), and carries its name very well.

These dolphins always leave us wanting more so we wanted to share this picture with you. So you could judge for yourselves 😉

Before heading back an amazing group of Risso’s Dolphins (Grampus griseus) surfacing the waves and just using the water as speed aid. Here on this picture from this season you can observe the amazing “scared-faced” beauties that the Risso’s are.
