Hello everyone! What a nice way to end our day…

We started with a group of Risso’s Dolphins and it was amazing! At the beginning they were 4 old individuals and when they dived we could see the body at about 5 meters deep, the water was really clear! Then a few meters away we had the rest of the group.

Then we went to see the Striped Dolphins! Again, fantastic, because they were not swimming ahead of the boat, they were calm and jumping A LOT! We could see them so well, it was amazing. A few minutes later our other boat spoted 2 Beaked Whales. When we got there, we could see that it was the Blainville Beaked Whale. We could see for a few times and then we returned to the Risso’s Dolphin.

This time they were a lot, including juveniles and calves. We put the hydrophone under the water and we could hear the vocalizations! I just love these animals 🙂 .

I hope you had enjoyed, see you at Terra Azul!
