Breaking News – “Beach clean up time “

Hey guys !!! Strolling down the beach the other day and looking at the sand, we realized how dirty our beautiful beach of “Vinha d’Areia” located next to the Marina of Villa Franca do Campo.

We have decided with our sustainability correspondent Vanessa. To take action and head out to the beach on Wednesday the 13th of November at 1:00 PM in order to have a great time and clean our beautiful beach.

Plastic is as you know to only a problem because it creates visual pollution but also because it incorporates into the food chain. Strolling down to the beach, we noticed a big amount of styrofoam and tiny plastic beads. So we need to take action, not only in reducing our plastic consumption but helping any way we can, even one if it is one beach at a time ! We decided to take action on this matter since we are concerned about marine pollution and our environment. We seek to make people aware and be also part of the solution 🙂
