Today was a very special day! Usually most of the adventure in Terra Azul’s days come from the whale watching tours, but today the Swimming with Dolphins tours were really special too 😀

The morning started with heavy dolphin presence: during the whale watching tour we had Common dolphins, Bottlenose dolphins and a very friendly huge group of Atlantic spotted dolphins!  All of these groups had lots and lots of adorable little babies 🙂 While this happened on our Swimming boat a big Yellowfin tuna decided to lead the dolphin group for at least 30 minutes!! The wonders of wildlife! 🙂

The early afternoon tour brought another wonderful surprise…. Blainville’s beaked whales!! Three females were feeling very curious and circled the boat for a while. These animals can reach 4-5 meters long and can dive up to 1000 meters 🙂

To finish the day in the high note we had another special appearance in our whale watching tour: a beautiful Devil ray! Unfortunately we couldn’t get any photos but it was flapping its fins out of the water very close to the group of Common dolphins 😀

Keep tuned for more news of our tours! 😀
