Oh yes it was really lovely today! the sea was flat with a gentle swell and the sun was shining, definitely a lot different from yesterday afternoon which turned to be really foggy and rainy and forced us to cancel our tours for lack of visibility! Those conditions were literally testing our lookout!
With the nice conditions of today dolphins seem to be in a “good mood” as we enjoyed lots of leaps from the striped, common and bottlenose dolphins. The mysterious beaked whales spotted by our lookout, though kept their typical elusive behaviour and they were spotted only briefly.
In the afternoon we had a nice surprise, a sei whale! Baleen whales are starting their migration back to the warmer waters, so finger crossed the next days we will have the chance to see more individuals 🙂
