It was a cloudy day today with, however, lots of sharp bright light shining on the ocean surface. In the middle of the bright light there were 2 sperm whales blowing! They stayed on the surface for a while, then went for several shallow dives, and appeared again. Another 2 sperm whales appeared, this time a mother and a calf that were travelling!

Later on we spotted a small, but super interactive group of Atlantic Spotted dolphins. They were following our boat on high speed, and we had a lot of fun watching their interaction with us! Then a larger group of Common Dolphins appeared and showed their beautiful colours! In the afternoon the Common Dolphins were surfing the waves and speeding up and breaching.

Looking forward for tomorrow’s sightings!
