Today we were lucky! Although the sea was not flat at all and we got some of our famous salt water showers, life was abundant!
We left the marina to soon find a group of feeding Common dolpins that happily joined our boat ride. After a while, our lookouts spotted 2 baby Sperm whales and a mother in another area, so there we went.
When we arrived the mother soon dove away with her tail going down. The baby stayed, and some seagulls started to land on the whale and picking pieces off its skin. That was a funny and uncommon sight! So finally it seems like the Sperm whales are back in our area after not seeing them for at least 2 weeks. Hopefully they stay for a while so you get to see them as well! 🙂
