Hello everyone!

After this windy days we went to the sea and it felt really good. The sea was calm almost like a mirror.

First off, we started with a group of Bottlenose Dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) that seemed to be looking for some breakfast 😁

Then on our way to see a Sperm Whale, we found a group of Striped Dolphins (Stenella coeruleoalba). As always not very interested on the boat, swimming freely in the ocean.

Then after some search we finally got to see a Sperm Whale ( Physeter macrocephalus), only on time to see the tail. But as you already know we need to be patient because they can take a while coming to the surface again and with the help of the hydrophone hearing the clicks we knew that we had more animals around, and so after some minutes looking, another Sperm Whale got back to the surface.

To finish off the tour we spent some time with an amazing group of Common Dolphins ( Delphinus delphis). The group had a lot of babies and it was so nice to see them jumping next to their mothers 🥰. We enjoyed these last moments at sea and on our way to the islet we found a turtle with a seagull messing around …oh nature!

That was our day in the ocean, hope you had enjoyed, see you at Terra Azul!
