It’s blowing little fountains everywhere!

This blog is from yesterday’s tours (06-07-2018) which was another great day out at sea! Although it was not a flat sea, the animals, wild as they are, were very much there!

The morning tour started with 2 Sei whales, those are migratory baleen whales. One on each side of the boat. They were not fully grown, but surprised us several times with their blows and also showed a good part of their bodies.

After a while we got news that the Sperm whales were there again! It seems like the less baleen whales are staying around, the more the resident Sperm whales are getting back in their territory. This time it was a family of at least 4 individuals, with more animals blowing out their fountains of water on the horizon 🙂

Then our tour finished with the ever so interactive Atlantic Spotted dolphins, that were competing with our boat as usual. In the afternoon we did not go out, but tried a second time at the late afternoon trip at 16h, at which we saw our resident Bottlenose dolphins.
