When there is nothing common about them !!!!!!!

Sea conditions were amazing in the morning, we went out with sun and beautiful clouds under us. The blue sky made everybody enjoy the sight from the island.

Common dolphins, are one of the most beautiful creatures that exist to be observed under water, it’s a true delight. A young Belgian women’s response was “that is un understatement, there is nothing common about these dolphins”, when I told her the species known as “Common dolphins” was just in front of the boat.  I agree… Delphinus delphis, sounds just so much better to describe this creature that was once believed in ancient Greece to be Apollo, the God of beauty and art that transformed itself into a common dolphin to find a place to settle his temple, becoming so, the loyal servent of Poseidon the God of the sea.

Like a migrating whale we continued our journey finding one of the biggest pods that I have ever seen of Bottlenose dolphins, the coordination of these marine mammals is something that fascinates every single spectator that is passionate about wildlife.

I can only say one thing ” there is nothing common about dolphins” !!!!
