Sperm whale tails in the morning!

This morning we were lucky with everything! The sea, the sun, the visibility and the animals! Our tour started with several Sperm whales that were first floating like a couple of trees on the surface, and later on kept on blowing in all sort of directions. They were definitely resting, and keeping just as calm as the sea was. After a while however, the 2 individuals that we were looking at, took a simultaneous dive deep down, showing their precious flukes!

But all fun was not over, as we managed to find a large and very much spreaded out pod of Bottlenose dolphins that were actively joining our boat tour! They showed all they can do, tumbling, spyhopping, surfing the waves, bowriding and flapping their tails into the air. It was such a pleasure seeing them enjoying.

To finally conclude the trip, we spotted a fishing boat that was rumored to have 1 Risso’s dolphin around it, and so it had! 1 beautiful white animal showed itself for a while before it dissapeared into the big blue. What a morning!

Join us to experience it all yourself 🙂
